| Nowhere in the “lower forty” is there a state similar to Alaska. Photographing the scenics and grandeur of Alaska is a humbling experience. When I look at the total picture, I realize how small and unimportant I am. Enjoy the “tip of the iceberg” of photographs I took on my all-too-short trip there. |

| The islands are one of the last great unspoiled wilderness areas left on Earth and form a bridge between the Antarctic and South American continent. As many of you may never get to see the Falkland wildlife firsthand, I invite you on a short journey. |

| Ecuador is one of the most “species-rich” nations on earth---so much so ecologists have dubbed it a “megadiversity hotspot”. In my opinion, it is also one of the most beautiful countries on earth probably due to the vast variety of habitats. |
| In this gallery, there are literally hundreds of images touching various topics & subjects such as: environmental, ranching, birds, animals, people and places from around the world. Humor and “artsy-fartsy” hasn’t escaped me, my lens & trigger finger. A must look-see for publishers, editors, art directors, & browsers alike. |

| Pantanal-Brazil:
The Pantanal is the world’s largest inland wetland, an immense alluvial plain being a seasonally flooded plain fed by the Paraguay River. At 68,000 square miles, it is ten times the size of the Everglades, and has the largest concentration of flora & fauna of all of the Americas combined! About 80% of the Pantanal is in Brazil sharing its borders with Bolivia and Paraguay. The Pantanal is one of the world’s most productive habitats. Annual floods, fed by tropical rains, create a giant nursery for aquatic life, including 260 species of fish. As the waters recede in the dry season, the Pantanal attracts hundreds of species of birds (about 650) and other animals. It is truly one of this hemisphere’s great natural wonders.
